Maverick & Jane is a South African gourmet popcorn brand.
User experience strategy, interior design concept, technical documentation, signage and branding Implementation co-ordination, project management, procurement, compliance.
Maverick & Jane, as a new brand and offering in the South African market gave us the opportunity to develop a store design concurrently with developing the brand itself. We began by developing the brand, then working from that framework to develop the store design.
So we allowed the brand and brand story to have a heavy and direct influence on the store. We took element that were entrenched in the story and found ways of interpreting them as real elements in the store. The concept boutique confectionary store was developed from brand identity right through to execution of display details and a pop up stand.
