“Manhattan Meets Rosebank” is the concept for the space and the intention for the new office design is to reflect two cultures; the streets of Manhattan and the heartbeat of Rosebank. Manhattan isn't just a location for TRG; it's their origin and a testament to their journey. With its rich history stretching over centuries, Manhattan's essence is intertwined with Rosebank's buzzing culture, evident in Rosebank’s lively art galleries, cafes, and corporate urban skyline. Including these histories and cultures creates a dynamic backdrop for TRG’s new office design.

Emphasis on Local Collaboration:
Design Partnership prides itself in championing local craftsmanship. We're proud to report that 100% of our suppliers were local, with a staggering 70% of the furniture being crafted locally. Our dedication goes beyond sourcing; we actively visit manufacturing sites to ensure that our custom furniture pieces are produced responsibly.

One of our collaborations on this project was a gifted artisan we discovered on Instagram, @handmade_by_me_pongola, who handcrafted exquisite timber side stools for us.

Design Innovations:
The TRG offices showcase elements that draw inspiration from the distinct identities of Midtown Manhattan and Rosebank. One striking feature is the reception backdrop. It draws from Manhattan's iconic residential structures and window designs, characterised by their geometric and vertical arrangements, however, an African twist adds to its irregular arrangement and the use of organic materials.
